1 Take affordable plan-

2 Choose a plan with easy and lifetime renewability-

3 Pre and post hospitalization coverage-

4 Waiting period-

While buying a health plan you should consider and compare the waiting period given in your plan, for example many insurance companies have a waiting period of 24 to 48 months for pre-existing and specific illness such as thyroid, diabetes etc. You should take a plan with minimum waiting period to claim the benefits in case of any medical emergency.

5 No claim bonus-

No claim bonus or No claim discount refer to the bonus of discount given by the insurer to the policy holder for all the period of time they have not filed any claim. In other words it increases your coverage amount.
